General Statement of Duties

Perform unskilled work in grounds Maintenance including mowing, trimming, cleaning, and maintaining public grounds. Work also includes collecting leaves on a crew, assisting with asphalt maintenance, concrete construction and maintenance, assisting with maintenance of drainage systems, and other unskilled work. Other duties include assisting with signing for construction and flagging traffic, repair potholes, and assisting on other jobs as needed.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to perform heavy duty work and lift up to 100 pounds. Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions. Must possess the ability to safely operate small equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and trucks.

Desirable Education and Experience

Must have High School Diploma or equivalent

Special Requirements

Must possess a valid North Carolina driver's license
