A/V Technician

Stagebot® is seeking experienced and motivated A/V Technicians to join our event production team serving a variety of venues and outdoor events across Western North Carolina. This role includes live sound, lighting, video, and staging setup, with opportunities for advancement based on performance and skill. Events include concerts, festivals, private parties, and corporate functions.


Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and strike audio, lighting, and video gear for live events.


Assist with mobile stage setups, including SL100 operations (training available).


Load and unload gear safely from trailers and trucks.


Follow stage plots, patch sheets, and run-of-show schedules accurately.


Troubleshoot technical issues during setup or performance.


Maintain and organize gear before, during, and after events.


Communicate clearly with artists, clients, and production leads.


Ensure all work is done safely and up to industry standards.


Preferred Skills (Not Required):

Familiarity with SL100 mobile stage


Experience with d&b audiotechnik, Allen & Heath, DigiCo, Midas Consoles or MA lighting


Comfort with digital consoles, DMX, or QLab


OSHA or safety training certification


Compensation:

$150–$400/day depending on experience, event scope, and role.

Meal per diem or catering often included for longer gigs.


Opportunities to grow into crew lead, FOH, or systems tech roles.
