About Allison Golf Cars

Allison Golf Cars is a locally owned and family-operated golf car dealership in Shelby, North Carolina. Since 2009, we have proudly served Cleveland County and the surrounding communities with quality golf cars, honest guidance, dependable service, and a customer experience built around genuine relationships.

As an authorized Club Car dealer, we offer new and pre-owned golf cars, custom builds and upgrades, trade-ins, parts and accessories, service and repairs, rentals, financing, pickup, and delivery.

We believe buying and owning a golf car should be simple and enjoyable. Our goal is to listen first, understand how each customer plans to use their golf car, and provide the information they need to make the right decision for their family, property, business, vacation, or lifestyle.

Our Story

Allison Golf Cars began in 2009 after a family vacation inspired Casey Allison to build a custom golf car for his mother.

That first golf car led to Casey Allison’s Custom Golf Carts, which began as a part-time passion with big goals for the future.

After a severe injury in 2014, Casey began working in the business full-time. In 2018, the company incorporated as Allison Golf Cars, Inc.

After years of growth and a year of construction, Allison Golf Cars moved into its current location in March 2019.

Casey Allison serves as President, and his wife, Stephanie, serves as Vice President. Both are Cleveland County natives and high school sweethearts.

From the beginning, their goal has remained simple: take care of people, provide quality products and service, and build golf cars customers are proud to own.

Do You Sell New and Pre-Owned Golf Cars?

Yes!

We offer both new and pre-owned golf cars and regularly have inventory available for customers to browse and test drive. We also build golf cars to order and can customize a cart based on your individual needs, preferences, and budget.

Whether you're looking for something simple and dependable or a completely customized golf car, we can help you find the right fit.

Do I Need an Appointment for Service?

No appointment is required to drop off your golf car for service.

Golf cars may be brought in Monday through Friday during our regular service drop-off hours. If you need pickup or delivery service, simply contact us to be added to the schedule.

We service Club Car, E-Z-GO, Yamaha, and Star EV golf cars.

Do You Accept Credit Cards?

Yes. We accept all major credit cards.

A 3% processing fee applies to invoices over $1,000 paid by credit card.

Some vacation destinations and communities restrict gas golf cars, which can make electric the better option in those locations.

Gas golf cars typically require annual maintenance, including services such as tune-ups and oil changes.

Traditional lead-acid electric golf cars require regular battery maintenance, including checking water levels. Convenient watering systems are available to make this maintenance easier.

Lithium battery options are also available for customers interested in upgrading their electric golf car.

Traditional lead-acid electric golf cars need regular battery care, including checking water levels and keeping batteries properly charged.

We also offer parts, accessories, battery options, upgrades, and service to help customers continue enjoying their golf cars long after the original purchase.
